Big Role Models

I have many role models in my life, but I think the biggest one’s are my family. I look up to each member in my family for many different reason. I have one brother, named Ricky and he is a freshmen and LSU. I look up to him because he watched over me growing up. He would always help me make the better decisions and when I did make bad decisions he would talk to me about it. I’m so thankful to have grown up with an older brother.

I also look up to both my parents. One reason is because they have a happy life and marriage. That is one of my biggest goals in life and watching my parents achieve this makes me want to too. My dad works very hard for my family and I to have the best life possible and my mom wants for my brother and I to grow up in a religious household which I think is important. I am very thankful for my family and would not be the person I am today without them.

Book II Travelblog

As Marlow continues with his story once the water calms down everybody listens. He tells us about this guy named Kurtz. He is the commander of the trading post. They trade ivory. He tells us how much he adores this man and just how eager he was to meet him. He said it’s what he was looking forward to the whole trip.

Marlow then continues to tell us about how he finished repairing the boat and they begin their trip up the river. He is very excited to meet Kurtz. As they travel along the river, they pass many of the natives and Marlow is very interested in them. He tells us how he almost felt a special connection with them. I can’t wait to hear when he meets Kurtz.

Movie Review

One of my favorite movies is “Clueless”. Everybody has seen this movie and I have never heard anybody say that this movie is bad. This is a cult-classic movie and it shows the fashion and how “high school” was like in the 1990’s. The movie is what everybody watched before going into high school and every girl dreams of being exactly like Cher, the main character.

The movie is about a teenage high school girl and her experiences in high school. It shows her in class and how she talks to the teachers and her with her friends and being the popular girl in school. It also shows the relationships she has between her family like her father and step-brother. This movie is a movie that everybody has to watch at one point or another.

Summer

Summer is my favorite season of the year for many reasons. First off I hate cold weather. I would rather be sweating in the humid Louisiana heat than be layered up in pants and sweatshirts. Also, my favorite holiday, Fourth of July, is during summer. I love this holiday because I love fireworks and the fun activities like swimming that is always associated with the Fourth of July. Lastly, there is no school. I dislike school a lot more than the average student I feel like and tend to miss school often.

Some of my favorite parts about summer is all the activities you do. I love hanging out with my friends every day and staying up until the sun starts to rise. We will wake up and throw swimsuits on and swim all day and go get snowballs for dinner sometimes. I miss summer and can’t wait five more months when it starts all over again.

HOD POV

I stepped foot onto the boat and I saw all the other crew mates. The boat Nellie, was huge and filled with people I knew. As I was looking around at all of the people I was surrounded by we started to depart then I spot Marlow. Marlow and I are great friends. I was excited to see him and for him to allow me to come along on the adventure. The only reason he let me come is because I’m a doctor and they wanted one on board incase anything happened.

Marlow starts telling his story and I am so intrigued. The most interesting part of the story to me was when they tried to put the fire out, but there was whole in the bucket. How did they not notice is my question. Did they not notice that no water was going on the fire? The story just got more interesting the more he told. I have to go now because the waters are getting rocky but hopefully you will hear from me soon.

Life

It is crazy to me that I am already half way through my junior year of high school. I feel like it was not too long ago when I was a freshman scared of all of the upperclassman. Personally, I really enjoy high school. I may complain often and never want to come to school, but I like having to look forward to hanging out with my friends on the weekend and making memories I will never forget.

While I don’t exactly want to leave high school, I also am very excited to be in college and more on my own. I’m excited to be able to live in an apartment by myself and not have my parents on my back twenty-four seven. Some of the colleges that I am looking at is LSU, Alabama, and Ole Miss. I would like to stay in the South and somewhat close to home. I’m excited to see what life has in store for me next.

2021

It’s officially 2021 and time for a new year to start. I’m excited for 2021 because 2020 was a rough year for everybody. There were many bad things that happened and hopefully 2021 will be better and things like the pandemic will start to ease up. While 2020 had many bad parts it also had many good things that happened for me.

One thing that happened was that I grew very close with my friends. The pandemic allowed for us to get closer by doing simply things like walking the lakes or going on picnics. Some of my goals for 2021 is to keep all A’s and to start to read some of the bible everyday. I think that these are some goals that are very achievable and will better me as a person. Happy New Year!

My Vacation

Over the past week my family and I took a trip to Hawaii. We haven’t been on a family vacation and it was really nice to just get away from reality for a week and hangout with my family. My family and I don’t hangout a lot because we are all so busy. My parents were happy to finally relax and it was nice to see the whole family not so stressed.

Some of my favorite things that we did was surfing, hiking, mudding, and horseback riding. Hiking and horseback riding were very cool because the views were amazing. It was so pretty with the. mountains and the bright blue ocean. We also went mudding and had a blast driving through spots where famous movies were filmed on the trails like Jurassic World. I also really enjoyed the food because they have many options different from here. My favorite thing I had was poke bowls which was tuna and rice and vegetables all in a bowl. Now that I’m back I need to focus on school and catch up on all of my work.
